Who is responsible for your information

This website, apptalent.org, is operated under the APPTalent brand by APPSolve Resourcing (PTY) LTD (“APPSolve Resourcing”, “we”, “us”), a South African company. APPSolve Resourcing decides how personal information submitted through this website is collected and used, and is responsible for that processing under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Information we collect

When you use the enquiry form on this website, we collect the information you choose to enter:

• your name
• your work email address
• your VAR or company name
• your country calling code and telephone number
• the delivery requirement you describe
• your timing
• any optional notes you add

The enquiry form is the only place where we actively ask you to provide personal information. There are no customer accounts and no online payments.

Why we use it

We use the information you submit only to assess your enquiry, respond to it, and manage any business discussion or relationship that follows. There is no newsletter, and we do not add your details to a separate marketing or mailing list.

How the enquiry form is processed

The enquiry form is built and hosted by us, but submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form-handling service. When you submit the form, Formspree receives what you entered, stores it in our Formspree account according to our plan and settings there, and sends us a notification email into our Microsoft 365 mailbox so we can reply.

We do not separately copy or import enquiry submissions into a marketing or customer database — Formspree and our Microsoft 365 mailbox are where this information is held.

Who receives or processes the information

• APPSolve Resourcing — the people who need the information to assess and respond to your enquiry.
• Formspree — processes, stores and delivers the submission as our form-handling service provider. Its handling of information is also governed by its applicable privacy information and service terms. See Formspree’s privacy information.
• Microsoft 365 — provides the email service through which we receive notifications and correspond with you. Its handling of information is also governed by its applicable privacy information and service terms. See Microsoft’s privacy information.
• Our website host and any security or infrastructure providers involved in running the website may process limited technical information — see Cookies and technical information below.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

Processing outside South Africa

Formspree and Microsoft 365 may process and store information on infrastructure located outside South Africa, as part of how those services are delivered — we do not control or verify exactly where. We take reasonable steps when selecting and using service providers that process information outside South Africa, but their infrastructure locations and independent service arrangements may change over time.

How long information is kept

We keep enquiry information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to it, manage any resulting business relationship, resolve disputes, or satisfy our legal obligations. When it is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it as reasonably practicable.

Retention within Formspree and Microsoft 365 is affected by our account settings, their applicable service terms, backup processes and legal obligations. We manage information under our control according to the necessity principle described above.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information submitted through this website and choose established third-party providers for form handling and email. No method of storing or sending information online can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise that information will never be accessed or disclosed without authorisation.

Cookies and technical information

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and no such tracking is intentionally installed. Standard web-hosting and security infrastructure may still automatically log basic technical information when you visit — such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested, timestamps and security-related events. These logs exist for normal website operation, troubleshooting and security, not for tracking individuals or advertising.

Your rights

Subject to POPIA and any conditions or exceptions it sets out, you may ask us to:

• give you access to the personal information we hold about you;
• correct personal information that is inaccurate;
• delete personal information that is no longer required for the purposes it was collected for, or that we may not lawfully retain;
• object to certain processing of your personal information;
• tell you more about how your information has been collected and used.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling in connection with website enquiries — every enquiry is read and responded to by a person.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how your information has been handled, please contact us first at info@apptalent.org so we can try to resolve it directly.
